We would like to thank Mr Cook of Cook Transport in Great Britain who trusted us to manage the escort and the administrative procedures for his exceptional transport of a Centurion tank from Switzerland to the port of Caen. This tank is currently on display in a museum in Great Britain. The Centurion was the first British post-war tank. It was designed during World War II to combine the mobility of a Cruiser tank and the armor of an infantry tank, which earned it the name of Universal Tank. It was one of the most widely used tanks, equipping many armies around the world. It was also one of these models that was used for the longest period of time. A small number were still in service in the 1990s and some derivative versions until 2017. Its successor is the Chieftain main battle tank. In Switzerland, its turret was regularly dismantled and placed in concrete structures, known as Centi, to prevent road access to other tanks.972 kms on the roads of France in 3 days managed by our team Jérémy and Antoine.Very beautiful photos and a great experience for our team of professionals who had this opportunity to work with Mr Cook of Cook Transport UK.
